Visited Break Beach Cafe for the first time today. It was very busy with the lovely weather, so I took my takeaway nachos down to the beach, which was a great spot to enjoy them. Unfortunately, the sour cream was off, which was very disappointing and unpleasant. Due to this experience, I won't be returning.

Incredibly average food and service and breakfast cost us $90 for two adults and two small children with no coffee. No smiles no attentiveness and looked like the staff hated being here . Food was kinda gross . Greasy and expensive . We are on holidays so chose a place with a nice outlook but won’t be returning tomorrow morning . The kids waffles were that average, it all was to be honest. Waste of money /

Beach Break Café is a great little spot in a fantastic location. The coffee is consistently good, the staff are friendly, and the whole place has an easy, relaxed vibe — especially when the wind isn’t howling! The meals are fresh, tasty and generously sized. Nothing over the top, just good honest food done well. If you’re after a casual café with great coffee and a laid-back coastal feel, this is definitely worth a stop.

Perfect as the last stop of our grand tour of Sydney to Brisbane to Cairns then back. Beautiful beach and cafe. Staff are nice. The magpie gang is lovely.
