Riverside Park is a park in Kangaroo Valley. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.
Riverside Park is a park in Kangaroo Valley. Parks managed by Shoalhaven City Council are on-leash by default under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. We haven’t been able to confirm from a council source that this specific park is council-managed — it’s likely, but please check on-site signage or contact Shoalhaven City Council before visiting with a dog.
Good amount of parking. River easy to access too with stairs and footpath to the start of the sand. Beautiful location along the river for swimming, kids to play, dogs to swin. Lots of birds and butterflies. Made for a lovely morning trip
Great little park for a short stop. Interesting views under the bridge with lookout points and picnic tables.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
