Quite an isolated place to go. We did manage to get to the lookout point and saw the falls itself. There is also a trail that can take you closer. But we came a little late in the day. So we didn't walk the trail. Update: Came again and walked along the short trail. You actually see a close up view of the Falls. The road is smooth until a certain point where it becomes a dirt track barely able to fit 2 cars. You need a tougher car than just a normal sedan type car. There is only a dug out toilet so be prepared.
Nice views. Short and easy walk just follow the fence. If looking for more of a hike try somewhere else. If passing and want a stop for some good pics, great option!
Belmore Falls was an amazing day trip with my two friends from Sydney. It took us almost 2 hours to reach there through winding hilly roads and beautiful countryside scenery. This was the first waterfall I have seen in Australia, and it was truly worth the journey. The waterfall, lush greenery, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings were absolutely breathtaking. Standing there, I felt a sense of calm and connection with nature. What made it even more special was that the landscape reminded me of my home country, Nepal—the land of the Himalayas. The hills, greenery, and natural beauty brought back many wonderful memories from home. 😊🇳🇵 "The views may be in Australia, but for a moment, it felt like a piece of Nepal." A perfect place to escape the city, relax, and enjoy nature with friends. Highly recommended!
Beautiful waterfall in the national park, worth a detour from main roads. The fall is accessible from Robertson or from the other side, through a short dirty track, accessible to all vehicles (we visited in dry conditions). Car park is easy to access, it is worth taking the pathway along the cliff to see the different viewpoints on the valley and the fall. The bottom of the fall is not accessible and definitely closed.
The walk to the main lookout is short and well-maintained, making it accessible for families, casual walkers, and visitors who may not want a long hike. From the viewing platforms, the waterfall can be seen cascading in multiple streams, particularly impressive after rainfall when the flow is strong and mist rises from the gorge below. On clear days, the contrast between the white water, dark rock faces, and dense green vegetation makes the scenery especially striking
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
