Ambleside Park is a dog-friendly park in Castle Hill.
Under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be on-leash at all times in all parks and public places. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's playground equipment and food preparation areas, from active sports fields during organised sport, public bathing areas, school grounds, and child care centres. Dog faeces must be removed immediately. (Source: The Hills Shire Council — Stay out of the Doghouse, thehills.nsw.gov.au.)
Not exactly a skate park, more like an excuse for a poorly placed drain. Theres also only a small playground and half a basketball court when there's space for so much more. Great spot for letting your dog run around though.
Well maintained park, really love going here. Be great if there were public toilets, so that birthday parties could be held here.
I grew up a couple streets away from here in the 80/90s. I always thought it was a skatepark but now I realise it was just a drain.
Cute lil bowl for skating..lol but tight but g.. bball hoop is too high n court slopes away making hoop even higher..11 1/2 to 12 ft
Local little park. Great big open grass with a skate pipe and small playground. My kids love it.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
