Bull and Bush Hotel Baulkham Hills

After this fish and chips yesterday, dripping light green grease, I havent not got off the toilet since 6am today. Friend's schnitzel was second rate too. The look and taste of food has changed since we were there last month. Used to be excellent food and favourite spots. Never again, avoid at all costs.

Disappointed to find that the ADVERTISED $17 Lunch Specials have been replaced with a $15 version. Cheaper yes. However also half the portion size literally ie: half a chicken schnitzel. Otherwise pricing has gone well up and quality well down since my last visit 1 year ago. Schnitzel was deep fried, opposed to pan fried & portion was kids portion - although touted as a "senior" portion. Service was also quite slow, given it was lunchtime & only 15 covers to service. I will be finding another local spot for our regular get togethers. The only positive was the air con & soft drink tap were working - neither of which were during our last visit.

Stopped in on a hot day for some lunch. Clean and tidy pub with many seating options but I ate in the main dining area where it was bright and airy with floor to ceiling glass overlooking the garden and further to the intersection with movement of traffic to keep the view interesting. I had a waygu burger which was very good. The beer was cold and the service great. I'd certainly stop by again.

Had lunch there with 2 of my mates recently. This was our 2nd visit and we ordered the same as our last visit: the Booka Burger! The Booka Burger is anything but boring, tasteless burger. For me, a burger that is not flame-grilled is a fake burger. How do I know? The Booka burger has burnt edges which are the tell-tale signs that the burger is flame-grilled. First bite and you can taste the smoky flavour. Out of this world! Add friendly staff to that and you will experience Clint Eastwood's famous quip, 'You make my day'! Keep up the good work, team!

OMG what a great evening. We made a very last minute booking at the Bull and bush. Having try a couple of other places. The young lady was very helpful. The meals were great. I would recommend the Bull and bush.
