The Winston is a pub in Baulkham Hills with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 250m away, Max Ruddock Reserve is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.

We attended a birthday celebration at CALA Bistro (Winston Hotel in Winston Hills) with a small family group and chose to sit outside under the awnings. Despite the warmth, it was a very pleasant and relaxed setting. The Winston Hotel has recently been renovated and now presents as quite up-market, with food prices to match. We had been told that food quality may have dipped since the renovations, so we went in curious. While the meals are relatively expensive for a pub, the quality and portion sizes certainly justified the pricing. The food was well prepared and satisfying overall. The only hiccup was my $70 steak arriving overcooked, however this was handled professionally and without fuss — it was promptly replaced with a correctly cooked steak, which was excellent. The service throughout was attentive and accommodating. Overall, The Winston Hotel and its CALA Bistro proved to be a great find. A stylish venue with solid food and service, and we will happily return.

We've been coming here 10+ years now. It's certainly improved, the menu especially but that has also made it a lot busier. They've mainly been able to handle this increase satisfactorily but it not quite the same. Give it a try. The photo is the angel hair prawn pasta. Twas delicious! Could have done with a touch more chilli though.

The staff were amazing and very helpful and accommodating. The food was good, took awhile to come out though, so order early. Large servings and comfortable seating. Kids meals comes with activity pack and ice cream which helped keep them.occupied for a few hours.

The Winston has a large infoor/outdoor dining area. Lots of variety on the menu and cocktails were delicious. (Try the Coconut foam margarita). It gets very busy so I suggest making a reservation. The food was good and great size servings. We did have to wait a little bit but it was a busy night. I had the angel hair pasta served with prawns, rocket n chillis. A little bland for me, couldve have done with a bit more seasoning n chillis. Oysters kilpatrick were delicious but oysters a little on the small side. Lots of choices, from fish, to burgers, to pasta n pizza. Overall a nice meal. Staff are very nice too.

They spent a motza on the interior, however they missed the kitchen and the chefs in it. They had a $70 steak on the menu, i didn't risk it as all the other times the steaks, have been average. The burger i ordered wasn't anything to brag about. I had a superb steak at the Bidwill Hotel where I was contracting. It was a $20 lunch special. Better than anything ive eaten here.
