The Vicar is a dog-friendly pub in Dural, where dogs are welcome in the outdoor area.
Dogs allowed in outdoor area only, with umbrellas for shade.
What a lovely experience. Visited the vicar for a bit of time out with my colour ( switch ). Not only was my food delicious but we were both so warmly welcomed. Switch received a bowl of icy water. ( I was jealous) and to my surprise the staff brought over a shade umbrella to make his and mine experiment very comfortable. Very pet friendly for the right on over zealous hound. Will defiantly spruke my experiment to others in the hills area. THANK YOU
If you live on the northern side of Sydney, don't miss trying out Vicar. My wife and I, together with a group of friends, went there for lunch. There were plenty of parking and on entering the restaurant, you are greeted by a spacious setting with plenty of seatings. I had the rump steak (medium rare) with garden salad topped with mushroom sauce and the wife had the Linguini. The food was simple but delicious. I was happy with the good size of the steak and its tenderness, while my wife loved the flavor of the pasta. The group were all happy with what they were served. I would say that if you want a place with good food for a gathering with some friends, this place would be a good choice. BTW, look out for the Daily Special to save a few dollars!!!
Had dinner tonight at The Vicar and it was a great experience. The customer service was warm and attentive, and there’s heaps of open parking which made things really convenient. The ambiance is nice and relaxed—perfect for a casual dinner or celebration. Food was delicious and pricing is very reasonable for the quality. Will definitely be back.
First time visit the venue is open and spacious with an outside area. The fish and chips where excellent, good sized portion. My wife had the salmon which she said was delicious 😋 definitely be back !
We’ve been to the Vicar several times and enjoyed the atmosphere and very good quality food. Unfortunately today while the service was great the food itself was not. The parmigiana was dry and overcooked, with what felt like a half tin of diced tomatoes on top with a mountain of shelf stable Parmesan. We’ve had it before and it’s been great so not sure what’s happened here. My Vicar burger was nice but not quite up to par- also weirdly spicier than usual. I do hope the Vicar goes back to its previous quality.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
