What a lovely experience. Visited the vicar for a bit of time out with my colour ( switch ). Not only was my food delicious but we were both so warmly welcomed. Switch received a bowl of icy water. ( I was jealous) and to my surprise the staff brought over a shade umbrella to make his and mine experiment very comfortable. Very pet friendly for the right on over zealous hound. Will defiantly spruke my experiment to others in the hills area. THANK YOU
We’ve been to the Vicar several times and enjoyed the atmosphere and very good quality food. Unfortunately today while the service was great the food itself was not. The parmigiana was dry and overcooked, with what felt like a half tin of diced tomatoes on top with a mountain of shelf stable Parmesan. We’ve had it before and it’s been great so not sure what’s happened here. My Vicar burger was nice but not quite up to par- also weirdly spicier than usual. I do hope the Vicar goes back to its previous quality.
I had lunch here with my family today and everyone loved it. The food was some of the best I've had in ages. My daughter got the kids pizza and finished it (which never happens), my son got through an adult burger, parents raved about the fish, and I had a delicious pulled pork burger. Service was impeccable and the venue felt super classy for a tavern. Can't wait to go back.
Would highly recommend the Vicar for a party. We had a 70th birthday lunch for 60 adults plus a few kids that everyone enjoyed. Various staff were involved to make it a great day, including Kristiane, Claudia, Patch and in particular Chloe during the function. Plus a great DJ, Henry that the Vicar recommended. Thanks all. The service - the people are great, it’s the fact it changes all the time on where you have to order food :/ just let us order food at all places guys !! Back and forth and back and forth. Please also fix the drive way if you can :) so hard to turn in if someone is there in the middle waiting to exit.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
