Great area for big and little kids. Heaps of parking. Accessibility paths to playground and bbq areas. Exercise stations, staircases, a stroll to the oval over the road, the playground, ball wall and skatepark make this area great for all explorers. Follow the winding pathways through the park and there's an outlook over the town and out to the mountains. Fantastic place to let the kids unwind if road tripping to the Hunter Valley.

Amazing park. It has plenty of activities to do for the kids. I can’t tell you how good this place is. You have to see it and experience it for yourself?

The barbecue facilities, large playground, skate park, and walking trails are all so well-maintained that it’s a great place for a walk or a workout. It seems like a perfect spot for both kids and adults! Sometimes, when I need a stair workout, I come here to go up and down the stairs.

The park is definitely the main attraction of Kitchener! With a HUGE playground for the kiddos, plenty of picnic benches and BBQs, and huge areas of green for kids to run or bike around. The mine shaft is definitely an attraction. Unfortunately the damn behind it is closed for now. Overall, great place to feed the birds, watch kids play and have the quietness of a small country town (with the occasional sounds of dirt bikes of course) 😁
