Pokolbin Park is a dog-friendly park where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find BBQs, parking, and toilets, making it an easy spot for a longer outing.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at this park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act, dogs must be kept on a leash in all public areas except designated off-leash zones. Cessnock City Council has six designated off-leash areas — visit council's website for locations.
Great view with lots of benches undercover. Also 2 bbqs. Some parking and 1 park for longer vehicles.
A great park for a planned bbq. Unfortunately there was only 1 of 3 BBQ plates working- even ensuring that the power was on per instructions. This could be hard to judge if there were more groups waiting to use the available facilities.
Located in close proximity to various wineries around the Pokolbin area. Its a good spot to stop and have a packed lunch picnic. Since I was here a couple of years ago its been done up with paths and tracks cordoned off to stop cars going on to the grass. It has 2 free electric barbecues, toilet, park benches with tables and plenty of parking. The electric barbecue hot plate are free to use just make sure that they are cleaned after use ready for the next user.
A great little stop for a picnic
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
