Little Beach is a dog-friendly beach in Moonee with on-leash walking areas.
Dog rules
Dogs are only allowed to be off-leash in leash-free designated areas approved by Lake Macquarie City Council. Dogs must be on a leash and under effective control at all times in all other public places. Dogs are not permitted within 10 metres of playgrounds or BBQ areas, or within 400 metres of patrolled beaches. Dog owners must clean up after their dogs. I walk here often. Since I’m a local artist at Cathrine Hill Bay it’s such a great place to paint. Never that busy and always relaxing. Weekends seem to get more people though.

Great beach for the little kids to play. Not much of a walk but after rains the walk to the beach may be on muddy grounds. The place wasn't crowded at all, even though we went on a sunny weekend. Plenty of rock pools with loads off sea life. A beautiful place for a swim or picnic by the sands. We even saw a pretty big 30cm long sea slug, I guess they enjoy the peace and quiet of the beach.
