Rathluba Dog Off-Leash Area is an open grassed space in East Maitland for off-leash exercise. It is unfenced, but set away from nearby roads, which makes it a relaxed place for a run for dogs under effective control. There is a playground and toilets nearby. A handy, low-key off-leash spot with room to move.
Designated off-leash dog exercise area (unfenced). Dog owners must pick up and dispose of dog waste. Dogs must wear a collar and identification tag. Dogs must remain under effective control. The toilets were blocked on the Easter weekend my dog was thirsty and I brought drink bottles for the girls so luckily my dog could use some of the water but there needs to be something for dogs because it's a dog park as well as it kids park but no bubbler and I don't know if the toilets are locked all the time beautiful place beautiful playground lovely area careful water area for little ones
Nice spot to walk the dog. Not fenced but no nearby roads or the like to make that a problem.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
