They explained that it was a traditional crepe that French people eat. The crepe batter itself was delicious, and the freshly baked croissant was also great. I visited early in the morning – it was cold, but I was touched by the warm sunshine and the traditional French crepe. It seemed like a family-run business, and everyone was incredibly kind. Since I’m a local, I plan to come back next time to try a sweet crepe. The scenery and the outdoor seating had a beautiful atmosphere – it was such a lovely day. Next time, I’m also planning to check out the French antiques. By the way, do you know if dogs are allowed here?
Lovely ham and cheese croissant seriously buttery! Nice atmosphere with outdoor tables and an antiques store next to it. The service was a little slow that day and would have loved to know more about their crepes however there wasn’t any on their Cafe menu. Overall a great spot for a coffee and a croissant. Also bonus points for the Paris hot chocolate - delish!
We recently visited this beautiful French-inspired café nestled against a stunning mountain backdrop, and it was such a unique experience. The space has a charming shabby chic feel, with vintage furniture and recycled materials that give it a rustic, lived-in warmth. There’s also a lovely little antique gallery next door, which adds to the overall character and makes it feel like more than just a café. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, with open areas and even games like bocce, making it a great spot to relax and spend time. With the festoon lighting and scenic setting, it would also make a gorgeous venue for a birthday or engagement celebration. The food and coffee were absolutely delicious. The baked goods in particular looked incredible, but we were too full to try them this time. We’ll definitely be back just for those! While the rustic, eclectic style is part of its charm, I personally would love to see a slightly more tidy layout to let the space and scenery shine even more. That said, it’s still a special place with a lot of heart, and well worth a visit.
Just visited Cafe Brocante and wow… what an experience! Easily an 11/10. The crêpes were absolutely amazing and the coffee was perfect—one of those rare spots where everything is done right. But what really makes this place special is the atmosphere. It’s so relaxing and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, making you feel at home the moment you walk in. It’s definitely worth the drive out of Sydney for a visit. If you’re looking for incredible crêpes, great coffee, and a cosy place to unwind, this cafe is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back!
The savoury crepes were absolutely divine and the coffee was excellent, with a stunning outlook that makes it such a lovely spot to sit and enjoy brunch. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can really feel the care and attention that’s gone into creating such a special place. As fellow locals in hospitality, we really appreciate the quality and detail behind what they’re doing here. We’re looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. - Gab & Kenz
