Cypress Lakes Bistro & Bar

Located at 15 Thompsons Road, Pokolbin, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 We had a lovely dinner here tonight. We were a large group of 35 people and we were catered to by the staff fantastically. They were so accommodating, willing to help in any way. It helped that it was a Tuesday night when we came so it wasn’t busy. The club itself is beautifully designed. Very spacious and stylish. The view overlooking the golf ⛳️ course is amazing. The menu offers a great range of delicious 😋 meals. Our group, on the most part, were happy with their meals. We had several people using walkers and the club was very accessible. Good toilet 🚻 facilities including disabled toilets. Tge Bistro is part of the resort and there’s accommodation available but we just came for dinner. We all enjoyed our visit here and would definitely return. Thumbs up!! 👍👍

It's possible to book in for breakfast buffet as a guest and non-guest and I've done both. The sausages at the breakfast buffet were SO good. The larger hash browns are crispier than the smaller ones. Bit disappointed that there were no fresh waffles. The pancakes were just as sad as the first time I ate here. Kitchen staff were nice. Hot options for breakfast as well as cold options are available. Quite a good selection to choose from but not sure about dietary and allergen requirements. Best to consult staff regarding this prior to dining. The highlight for me was the views and pleasant seating options indoors or on the outdoor deck (weather permitting).

Basic menu but tasty. Meals presented nicely. We used the app on the table to order our food which was convenient. You could also use the app to order drinks but we preferred to go to the bar. Bistro Staff are friendly but appear to be run off their feet. Indoor and outdoor dining available. We had a view overlooking the pool and part of the golf course which was nice. A good venue for families as child friendly. The only negative is the decor needs updating as looking a little tired and dated. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

Good quality food and excellent presentation and plating. The portion for duck confit is a bit small though. But very tasty and the pork belly is really equally good too.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my father who ordered a steak with two slices of tomato two slices of Spanish onions and 4 french fries. I can hand on my heart say that he has ordered this on many at times but never ever received it exactly the way he ordered it. You guys are officially the first restaurant he has ever visited where his dream order came true. There was a moment when he thought he saw five chips what was very pleased on a recount noting that there were just four. Please extend the thank you to the chef.
