Lovedale Smokehouse Cafe, Deli Gourmet Pantry & Majors Lane Cooking School

Lovedale Smokehouse in the Hunter Valley was such a beautiful spot for lunch. We sat outside in the covered area overlooking the vineyard, and the view was absolutely stunning. The atmosphere was peaceful, welcoming, dog friendly, and family friendly, it honestly felt like sitting under a pergola at our grandparents’ home. We had the ribs and chips as well as a burger, and both were absolutely delicious. The ribs were a standout, and the burger was just as good. Also the customer service was excellent, greated like she knew me, so friendly and fast! If visiting the Hunter Valley, this place is definitely worthy of a visit. They’re only open for lunch until 3PM, so don’t miss out!!!

This establishment was my choice to celebrate my 40th birthday with family. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was super fast and the place was extremely clean. They even had a happy birthday sign up for me..it’s those little touches that made my birthday lunch that little bit more special. Dog friendly and kid friendly. Would highly recommend!

Wow what a hidden gem! Arrived and greeted with smiles! Seated with our two Westies and they were given individual water dishes. Ordered our meal, meat platter for two! It was enough for three! Meal arrived as per photo, just sensational! Cooked to perfection. We took enough home for another meal! Delicious! The dogs had a run in the adjacent paddock after their doggie donuts. A must to visit…

Such a great find, the smokehouse menu is unpretentious, generous and most importantly delicious 😋 I tried a hot dog that was was so tasty on its own but with the pickles and cabbage on a fresh roll became divine. My sister couldn't stop raving about her rueben We added a side of the finest onion rings I have ever eaten and gorgeous fresh chips struggled finish it all. The sauces could have been a dish on their own. We will totally be visiting again!

We randomly selected the Lovedale Smokehouse for Sunday lunch and what wonderful surprise it was. Beautiful afternoon in a casual venue surrounded by happy families. The food was plentiful and tasty. Hearty, delicious and worth the drive from Sydney.
