This is lovely little winery and restaurant with accommodation available, the staff were all friendly and helpful and the manager of the bar restaurant was super lovely and helped us out with gluten free options for dinner which were all delicious and the best food we had in the Hunter Valley over our weekend stay. We also did a wine tasting and they had a couple of truely wonderful wines. I would highly recommend visiting here and definitely intend on going back.

Taylor and Luke went above and beyond in their service making us feel welcome and thoroughly entertained as they walked us through our tasting and dining experience. Our food was excellent, best salt and pepper squid. Would definitely recommend its worth any travel!!!!

We went for lunch here at the suggestion of ChatGPT. Even though our group goes to the Hunter annually we hadn't heard of Harkham which is crazy because it is great! The lunch menu had just changed and everything we had was yummy...garlic prawns, salt and pepper squid, satay chicken, meatballs and a beef brisket pizza. And very reasonably priced. We hadn't intended to taste; our lovely hostess Taylor suggested the unguided tasting and being a weekday Taylor was able to talk us through the preservative free/unique Harkham wines. Very interesting and we ended up purchasing the Chardonnay, Hark Angel Shiraz and the Chocolate Indulgence which we haven't tasted anything like it before. Absolutely a wonderful place for food and/or wine tasting and a view with welcoming and knowledgable staff..thank you Taylor!

We chose to stay at Harkham House for our wedding, and the property is absolutely stunning. During our stay, we had a wine tasting, where the fantastic staff guided us through the wines and their fascinating backstories. Dinner that evening was an unforgettable experience. Knowing it was our wedding weekend, the chef gave us exceptional, personalized service. The food was flawless from start to finish. Harkham House is a true hidden gem 💎 that you must visit.

Food is excellent and the service , bar & kitchen staff are genuinely exemplary. Arrived early at five for a half five booking on a quieter friday. Initially our party was told would have to wait until six for the kitchens to fire up but the chef and his team started early to allow us to dine without our one year old waiting and causing a likely fuss. This was so kind hearted of everyone at Harkham that evening. Service from bar staff was superb- friendly, helpful and above and beyond what we have encountered in NSW by far. Food was very good indeed- Wings and beetroot carpaccio were great, Tacos and pizzas for mains were plentiful and just as delicious. The quality of food and above all the staff make this an absolute must if you are looking for an honest, delicious plate of food served with a smile. Thank you and would recommend to anyone.
