4 Pines at the Farm - Hunter Valley is a dog-friendly pub in Pokolbin, with dogs welcome in the outdoor area.
Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables on-leash. There's a grassed area around the venue for on-leash walks.
We had a great time at 4 Pines at the Farm. The food was decent. The pork belly was a bit dry (though let’s be honest, a really good pork belly is hard to find), but the chicken burger was tasty and came in a generous serve. The setting is really what makes this place shine. There are heaps of different seating options, and the balcony is especially lovely with views over the vineyard. We went on a warm day and chose to sit outside on the grass for the view, even though it was a bit hot. Inside was nice and cool with air con, but with a baby, the outdoor space worked better for us. The beer selection was great, which is probably the main reason you’d go anyway and with a couple of different beers on tap to choose from. Big plus: the venue is dog-friendly, which was awesome to see. There’s also a nearby farm (not sure if it’s officially affiliated) with goats, sheep, alpacas, an ostrich and even a few deer — basically a mini petting zoo. Such a fun little bonus and absolutely perfect for kids, with loads of space for them to run around. Overall, it was a fab experience. Great vibes, great beer, family- and dog-friendly. Definitely worth a visit. 🍻🐶👶
Been here for 3 days and 2 nights and didnt disappoint. Price is good. Food and drinks are superb! Staff are very kind and lovely people. They have indoor and outdoor dining which we tried both. The salmon pasta and steak was so good. Breakfast is good too. We bought paddle of 4pines and enjoyed it a lot! Tried their pizza as well and serving is good for sharing. This place is 10/10 and highly recommend!
I’ve photographed a few weddings at 4 Pines at The Farm in the Hunter Valley, and it’s always such a great spot for a relaxed wedding. It has that easy, laid-back feel that works really well for couples who want good food, good drinks and a celebration that doesn’t feel too formal or stiff. From a wedding photographer’s point of view, it’s a really practical venue too. There’s accommodation onsite, plus a vineyard and dam nearby for wedding photos, which gives couples a nice variety of backdrops without needing to leave the property. That makes the day feel easier, especially when everything can flow in one place. 4 Pines at The Farm + Barrel Bistro is a great choice for couples wanting a Hunter Valley wedding with a fun, relaxed energy. It feels welcoming, social and full of character, with that winery-region atmosphere but without the day feeling overly polished or traditional.
Visited 4 Pines at the Farm in the Hunter Valley and the place has a really cool aesthetic with an absolutely beautiful scenic view. There’s plenty of indoor seating as well as lots of outdoor tables and chairs, so it’s a great spot to sit back, relax, and take in the surroundings. I tried the nitro stout and it was fantastic — super creamy and honestly almost better than a Guinness. Definitely worth trying if you’re a fan of darker beers. The food was expensive and unfortunately wasn’t the best during my visit and didn’t quite match how great the venue and drinks were. That said, the atmosphere and views alone make it a nice place to stop by for a drink and enjoy the scenery.
Awesome location, soooo much space to sit inside and outside (which is my recommendation), especially for dinner, as you can do some stargazing. Delicious food with generous portions. Great breakfast menu too. Love the location and atmosphere. Wouldnt necessarily recommend the takeaway menu, the dine-in menu and experience is much better.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
