⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing experience at The Thirsty Horse, Greta Stopped in at The Thirsty Horse in Greta and honestly couldn’t be happier. I had the awesome rissoles and a chicken schnitzel and both were absolutely spot on — fresh, well-cooked and full of flavour. What really made this place stand out though was the hospitality. The publican was an absolute champion — super friendly, welcoming and genuinely cares about customers. He saw us out the front with our dogs, told us straight away that dogs were welcome inside, and personally set us up out the back where it was perfect. They are properly dog-friendly, with a dog playground as well, which is unreal if you’re travelling with pets. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better people. Could not be happier with this place — we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend. 🐶🍽️🍻

Stopped for breakfast this morning. Best egg and bacon roll I've ever had, and I've had a few! We felt very welcomed by the friendly staff. The price list was more than reasonable, whilst the menu offered numerous breakfast choices. This is an impressive renovated hotel, and we look forward to our next visit 10/10 from us

What was once a bustling country pub, filled with patrons, serving beautiful Thai meals, raffles, live music and laughter, has slowly had the life strangled out of her over the past few years. Such a shame to see it in its current form...painted white now -desecrating it's heritage facade and beautiful vintage tiles looking so out of place. A perfect example of a hotel being sold to non hoteliers who lack the experience and nouse in the industry to make it work.
