I had such a lovely experience at this café. The staff are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, from thoughtful recommendations to little check-ins that make the visit feel personal rather than rushed. Even when dealing with difficult customers, they remain calm, professional, and gracious, which really speaks to the quality of service here. You can tell they truly care about creating a positive atmosphere for everyone. The new menu is a big highlight too, especially the high-protein options, which are both satisfying and well thought out without sacrificing flavor. It’s also a huge plus that dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area—perfect for a relaxed coffee stop with a furry friend. Overall, a warm, welcoming spot that makes you want to come back again and again.

Quite a nice little Cafe with a typical cafe menu. Coffee was very nice. We were very happy with the quality of the meals and will be happy to go back for more. It is dog friendly but as long as the dogs stay outside alfresco, no problem.

This definitely has to be the best cafe in Muswellbrook, the other cafes around town just do not compare to The Cattle Dog Cafe. I have been going here often for a lot of years, whether it's for a coffee, a meal, a cheeky treat, catering or for some gorgeous flower arrangements. The meals here are always perfect & delicious everytime i come here, not to mention the chef & staff are so friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic & always go above & beyond! It's very hard finding anywhere you feel appreciated as a customer these days but these guys tick every box, i am extremely satisfied. They even cater for all dietary needs & this is a cafe you can sit down at with your pet which is terrific as well! If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!

I stopped in for breakfast with my daughter and nephew on our way to Tamworth after Eaton's Hotel staff recommended you guys. I had the carnivore breakfast, my daughter had a ham and cheese croissant and my nephew had the kids cheeseburger and chips. The food was amazing, my eggs were cooked perfectly, very generous servings too. My nephew struggled to finish his burger. It was so lovely having a Milkshake from a traditional milkshake cup. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We will be back next time we're passing through Muswellbrook for sure! 😁

This place is a gem! The food is absolutely amazing, and the prices are unbeatable. The staff are super friendly, and I love that you can dine in, take away, or even just grab a coffee. Everything is so fresh and outstanding—we're definitely returning customers. If you haven't tried one of Crystal's pies, you're missing out! My partner is really picky about pies, and he says these are some of the best he's ever had. I also had Crystal cater our Christmas lunch with a charcuterie board, and it was incredible. I can't stress enough how amazing her products are. Crystal, you are one hell of a talented woman!
