Belmore Hotel Scone is a pub in Scone with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 150m away, Elizabeth Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
I don't know what is going on at this hotel, but if you are trying to book a room to stay, then AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! I had a confirmed room booking here today, and when I arrived the back gate to the courtyard was locked, that was my first inkling that something wasn't right. I walked around to the front and couldn't get in, there was a note on the door saying to go across the road to the Royal Hotel to check in. That was the second inkling. I go across the road to see the young guy behind the bar, he has a look on his computer and guess what, no booking in my name. I showed him my confirmed booking on my phone with a confirmation number, he said he was only waiting on 3 more guests to arrive for the Belmore and I wasn't one of them. I don't blame him, he was apologetic, and couldn't do anything. I crossed the road again and rang the phone number for the hotel but it was disconnected and wouldn't go through. Luckily I could cancel before 6pm, which is what I did.
Great little pub, beer garden outback country pub charm w fireplace and restaurant . The food was fantastic my steak was cooked rare to perfection, couldn't fault the creamy mash and veg. My partner had lamb shanks which were equally impressive. Room upstairs was good value and quiet. Nothing special but was very clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom but again very clean with a modern style with good hot water and pressure. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
If you are able to get in touch with them via phone or email before your planned visit please let me know how you did it because I tried on any phone number I could find for them with no success. Not even an answering machine message.
Ellie and the team at Belmore Hotel were very welcoming during my stay for work. The rooms have been renovated well whilst keeping the heritage of the hotel and the subtle music throughout the day gave a nice atmosphere. Would recommend to others!
A great country pub for a bush trip. It was the middle of the day and a bit quiet. We ate at the front bar and I had a burger. It was a good size, tasty and fresh with salad. The chips were crunchy. Highly recommend as a travelling lunch venue. It looked like it would be popular with the locals and was well maintained.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
