Kelly’s Top Pub is certainly not top! We were passing through Aberdeen when my 69 year old husband, who has a bung knee and was obviously limping, asked the bartender whether he could use the bathroom. The bartender refused him and said to go to the park across the road. After crossing the highway and searching up and down the park, we found a sign saying the toilets were 825m down the road! No wonder there wasn’t anyone in this pub, we noticed they were in another pub down the road near the toilet block. The bartender’s attitude and lack of empathy was pathetic! My family, and I along with all our friends will never be back. What ever happened to rural hospitality? We’re from Sydney and we have never encountered such rudeness from hoteliers such as this. So disappointing.
Nice little pub recently reopened. Haven't tried the restaurant as yet but the menu although small, looks inviting. Very nice bar, but again, this is not a big bar. There is outdoor seating undercover and in the open. A good little country pub worth a stop at.
Made a booking for 3 nights, showed up on the night to find the pub was closed, no one answering any phones. Next morning I find that the room I had booked had been given away to someone else with NO contact from the hotel at all.
Highly recommend! Decided to go here to eat yesterday for the first time,Great food. Everyone was so friendly,Reasonably priced.
Great pub with sorta clean facility's and nice staff but i got the beef burger with chips the patty was so dry with no flavouring or anything and it was hard to eat but the rest was nice also the girl overcharged us $4 for our food.
