Kelly’s Top Pub Aberdeen is a pub in Aberdeen with outdoor seating. It hasn't yet been confirmed as dog-friendly, so it's best to check with the venue before visiting.
I know $100 isn’t a lot, but how anyone can think is worth anything is beyond me. It’s like a cell. With only 2 rooms occupied I’d have liked a better room, so if this is the best room it’s a worry. The bedspread must be 50 years old but at least the bed linen seemed clean. Not sure when the shower was last cleaned. No hand wash except other people’s old slithers of soap and half empty bottles. No toilet paper in one of the 2 outside shower rooms. You can’t even prop yourself up to watch tv because the single undersized pillow is too thin. I could go on. This lack of standards is just not necessary in this day and age.
Kelly’s Top Pub is certainly not top! We were passing through Aberdeen when my 69 year old husband, who has a bung knee and was obviously limping, asked the bartender whether he could use the bathroom. The bartender refused him and said to go to the park across the road. After crossing the highway and searching up and down the park, we found a sign saying the toilets were 825m down the road! No wonder there wasn’t anyone in this pub, we noticed they were in another pub down the road near the toilet block. The bartender’s attitude and lack of empathy was pathetic! My family, and I along with all our friends will never be back. What ever happened to rural hospitality? We’re from Sydney and we have never encountered such rudeness from hoteliers such as this. So disappointing.
Nice little pub recently reopened. Haven't tried the restaurant as yet but the menu although small, looks inviting. Very nice bar, but again, this is not a big bar. There is outdoor seating undercover and in the open. A good little country pub worth a stop at.
Was working out this ways far from home the owner made me feel welcomed to the point that you feel like you’re in your own house
Kelly’s top pub accomodation was an absolute pleasure to deal with the rooms were comfy clean and welcoming the Owner Alan and the son David made us feel like we were at home. Would recommend to everybody to come stay here
