What people say
It is a small area between houses basically on the highway, even if set back a bit after the highway upgrade. Full of pines and agapanthus, not a place to bring kids, dogs or even lunch, unless you are happy sitting at the one bench that is just outside an unfenced house. The park is really a token memorial to Henry Parkes who owned much of Bullaburra back in the day, amongst many other achievements.
Good place for cyclists to stop on their ride up towards Katoomba. There is a bubbler and a tap, alas, no toilet!
The residential block is full of tall trees, with a bubbler, a water tap, and a cleared area you could put a picnic blanket down on. The fences are largely missing between this park and it's next-door neighbours.
