The Donnybrook
Donnybrook Hotel is one of the more straightforward dog-friendly options in the Lithgow area, set along the main highway. The outdoor beer garden sits streetside and is the main area for dogs.
There's plenty of parking available, and you can access the beer garden directly without needing to walk through the venue, which makes it an easy stop when travelling through.

Dogs can sit outdoors the front beer garden which is nice enough and has umbrellas for shade. Food is great here, you can even cook your steak yourself on a hot plate!
Great local pub environment. 3 tables ended up belting out "Happy Birthday" 3 times for each birthday they were celebrating, best way to get a pub joining in. Food is great too, staff are friendly and try to help with questions.
Had the steak here yesterday. They serve it on a hot rock, so you slice it up and grill it on the rock to your satisfaction. It was excellent.
Great little place, have camped nearby for years and to see this little gem reopened is great. The menu is simple but very well priced and the food delicious and generous. The staff were super welcoming and friendly. We will be back.
What a fantastic pub! Randomly stopped in here for dinner and glad we did. Everything is 5 star. The staff are awesome, the food is next level amazing and the pub has such a great feel. Cannot recommend stopping here enough. Food, price and atmosphere do yourself a favour.
