⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Fantastic Local Distillery with Genuine People. Old Shed Distillery is an absolute gem in a beautiful part of NSW along the historic Bells Line of Road, near the Blue Mountains. It’s a small, family-run business and you can really feel the passion and hard work that goes into everything they do. The owners are genuine, kind, and down-to-earth – true-blue Aussies who care about their craft and their community. Their gin and whiskey are top-notch, and they’ve built a great connection with the nearby local brewing companies and other local businesses, which adds to the whole local experience. The setting is simple but beautiful – a rustic shed with a cosy atmosphere inside and a great deck outside to sit back and enjoy a drink. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re passing through Bilpin or exploring the mountains – it’s the kind of place that reminds you why small local businesses matter.
Awesome place with rustic charm. Super friendly service. Delicious drinks mixed with Sodasmith tonic water and sodas. Definitely worth a visit.
Such a cool little spot to stop off at! Well worth dropping by if you’re in the area! Drinks and charcuterie were delicious and vibes were immaculate. Staff were so friendly with excellent recommendations to suit our taste. 5* all round.
I have been traveling between Lithgow and Sydney regularly for almost 2 years. Just 2 weeks ago, I popped into Old Shed Distillery for the first time. I ordered apple and lemon cider and was also treated to a shot of Gin. They tasted heavenly. I reckon it should be on the bucket list of everyone who visits the Blue Mountains.
Old Shed Distillery is a great spot! Their on-tap cider mixed with house-made gin and vodka is delicious— sweet, refreshing, and easy to enjoy. We received a warm welcome on arrival, and were made to feel right at home. The whole place has a relaxed vibe, with cool rustic decor that gives it a cozy, country feel. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. I’ll be going back for another round!
