In the Blue Mountains, dogs must be on a leash in all public areas unless in a specifically designated off-leash zone. Mount Piddington is listed in Blue Mountains City Council's Pet-Friendly Walks brochure as a dog-friendly council reserve where dogs must remain on-leash.
