What people say
An outstanding beach that is clean and extensive. There are life guards for swimming in the ocean and sand a plenty to lay your beach towel that is not overcrowding. There are lots of parking along the side and a parking lot at the end with clean amenities such as outdoor shower and toilets. A nice quiet and peaceful beach.
Beautiful beach perfect for swimming with children in lagoon. Besides that if you walk across the lagoon you can see beautiful view of Dovecote with farm animals
Pretty little beach including a lagoon for safe swimming. Great for photography. Interesting house on the hill that aparently cost $5m to build and won the Australian House of the year in 2019. They must have run out of money for the landscaping lol.
Werrie Beach is Gerringong is a beautiful stretch of beach in south coast NSW. It’s approximately 90mins drive from Sydney, past Kiama. The beach has a long stretch of stand with rock cliffs on either side. We perched on the southern end of the beach near the Ourie Rock Pool and the surf club. The sand is coarse so great for building sandcastles! There is parking available along many entrance points. There is limited surf club patrol so check website for times. The beach is an ocean beach so it can get pretty rough, caution is needed when venturing into the water for a swim. It’s more like ducking waves than swimming, but there is the rock pool on the southern end to get laps in or for a more relaxed swim. There are also toilets available on the southern end. Really lovely beach.
Nice, clean, wide, and beautiful. Shower and facilities only available at the end.
