Billinudgel Hotel

Such a welcoming and friendly hotel. The staff were lovely and even sold me a bottle of wine to take away, which was a nice touch. I used the WC while I was there and it was clean and well looked after. The back garden was a real highlight — a beautiful live band playing created a great atmosphere, and there was lots of yummy food being served. A really enjoyable spot with great vibes and hospitality. Would happily stop in again.

Always go here for lunch. We’re locals & have supported this pub for many years. Today we were the first to order at 12pm. Waited 40 minutes for 2 dishes. Absolutely cold & inedible. Found hairs in both meals. Chips were cold, burger bun was absolutely disgusting, old/untoasted & dry with a single piece of cheese- nothing else on the burger? $28/30 for a meal which looked horrible & has made us feeling sick. Would rather drive the extra 40 minutes & visit eltham pub where the food is, fresh produce & care has actually gone into it. Won’t be visiting again sadly, sorry guys for the review but to think that was actually acceptable to serve is beyond me.

An old country pub at best. It was convenient. I wasn't impressed with the bed sheets as the bed looked like it had just been used before me (stains), so I slept on-top of the cover. One good thing was, great food and plenty of it, albeit as but long in getting it. The beer was cold too.

Quite a quite a few of us pulled into Billinudgel for lunch yesterday and alot of us were disappointed with our meals. I ordered the Bangers and Mash it was terrible, the Mash was great but the Pork and fennel sausages were nearly uneditable, very hard and dry to eat and not a pleasant taste at all, I only ate half of them. My husband got a snitzel, that was over cooked, looked burnt and was very dry he said, then we also heard another couple of people complaining about their meals too, no sure what they ordered. Yes had been here about a year ago and the meals were great, so don't know what's gone wrong. Service was great but, very chirpie and fun young man picking up plates, he made up for the disappointment in the meals.

2 night stay at one of the best country pubs on the coast. Excellent service and food. Basic pub accommodation at it's best. The locals are friendly and the staff are the best.Highly recommended for anyone travelling and needing somewhere to bed down and have an excellent meal. A++++++
