Hampton Halfway Hotel is a unique stop with wide views across the surrounding valleys and countryside. The front beer garden sits right beside a fenced paddock, where goats and other farm animals often come right up to the edge, creating a more interactive setting.
There's also a lower outdoor terrace with more comfortable seating and similarly open views, offering a quieter place to settle. Both areas give you a different way to take in the landscape while spending time with your dog.
Dogs are welcome in the outdoor beer garden areas. The rear terrace is often conditional depending on crowds or food service, so it's best to check on arrival.
A chilled country pub with an epic view. The menu is well-priced and tasty. Dogs can sit outdoors - the front beer garden by the road is always OK, while the back beer garden is usually fine when it’s quiet. Staff prefer dogs not to be too close to food or people eating, so it’s best to use a bit of judgment when choosing where to sit.
Very impressed with our stay at Hampton Halfway Hotel Motel. We thought we had the room with detached bathroom, but it was inside the room in the end. We got room 18 which was at the corner and opened up to a shared balcony. The room was fully equipped, there were electric blankets, hair dryer, fridge, TV and aircon/heater. There’s a restaurant on site and serves breakfast too. Great value for money at ~$100 per night, but could have been a last minute special as we booked on the morning of our stay.
Stopped into halfway hotel on the way home from a camping trip. Great chicken snitty’s and give a great portion size. Wonderful view and friendly staff. Great place to recharge and have a feed and beer on the way home.
The perfect place to stop for a pub feed! Solid serving for the chicken parmi, definitely recommend. Friendly staff, great service and amazing view 😁
Great food and great location. We had stopped in Oberon to get something to eat heading back from Kenangra but the pubs and RSL was shut on New Years Day. I rang the Hampton Hotel as we were headed past it, and it went through to messagebank so we figured they were shut also. 5 minutes later they rang back and said they were open and the kitchen was running. Great place, and the bangers and mash really hit the spot on a miserable foggy day.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
