The Ettalong is a pub in Ettalong Beach with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 300m away, Ettalong Beach Waterfront Reserve is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.

Today showed me the exact reason why I’m leaving the hospitality industry very shortly. Don’t get me wrong, the food was amazing and the manager really made feel welcome, but I noticed that a couple of the waitresses weren’t having a good time. One of them was one the floor for a brief moment looking emotional and willing to give up (trust me I’ve been in her shoes plenty of times and felt deeply sorry for her). From what I saw today (despite being one of the more popular pubs in the Ettalong area, that the team really needed more hands on deck when it comes to the running the floor.

Worst pub feed I've had in a long time. They even burnt the garlic bread. The bacon on the daughters burger was black. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Inedible. I ordered a Szechuan pork belly that literally had 4 tiny pieces of pork on a huge bed of plain rice. I felt so ripped off from the whole families meals. And the place smelt like durry. Totally don't recommend.

Came in for lunch, ordered and received drinks immediately. 30 mins later we kindly asked about the food and were told extremely rudely “it’s going to be over an hour” despite not being particularly busy. Whilst we gathered it may have been a kitchen issue - this was not communicated when placing the order, when we received drinks, or otherwise. Ourself and other patrons were quite frustrated and surprised by the rude service. A heads up and friendliness would have gone a long way. Food ended up taking 1hr 40 total, served without any apology and 4 of our 6 meals were incredibly dry, very much not worth the wait. Wouldn’t touch this place with a ten foot pole

The Ettalong Pub was nice to visit over the holiday period. The bar service was great, we used the QR code to order so we didn't get to witness the table service for ordering but the food and drinks did come out to us in a timely manner which was great! The food and drinks were a hit and miss. Highly recommend The Etta Burger as well as a Bloody Mary! I'm not a fan of a Bloody Mary but my wife got me try this at the Etta and let me tell you it was Bloody fantastic. A shame the lychee daiquiri was tasting not so lychee and more like crushed ice, the chicken schnitzel was average and the Trawler's Haul was actually pretty tasty up until I had the fish and the fish just tasted a little off that it upset the rest of the meal. Other than that - I do recommend a side quest to this pub and see for yourself what they have to offer. 🤙

Great food and a decent variety of food/drinks available. Great value for money and I will certainly be back. Friendly staff and a nice and clean venue. Child friendly venue and it has a play area. Lots of TVs to watch a range of sports on offer.
