What people say
Beautiful off-leash dog beach! Nice, secluded little cove. Everyone we met was very understanding of our little guy (born and raised inland) being overexcited on his first beach trip. People are responsible about picking up after their dogs, and there's a beautiful toy library at the top of the entrance stairs for your dog to choose a toy from while you're visiting the beach. Absolutely can't wait to go back again.
My favourite beach for a swim. Also an "off leash" dog exercise area which is both a plus and a minus. Limited parking at the bottom of the access road Kenny Drive - complicated by people who ignore the marked carparks and turn the road into one lane creating traffic chaos at times. Grrr. Adequate carparking up on the main road. A track winds up to the top of the headland and rock fishing can also be undertaken with some care. Part of the coastal walk that extends from in the CBD to the lighthouse.
Lovely dog beach with parking and steps down to the beach. The nearby lookout has great views.
Fantastic off-lead dog-beach with lovely, friendly locals of both the canine and human kind. Artemis & I enjoyed our visit here
This is another beautiful beach in Port Macquarie, past Flynns beach. We visited this place after Flynns beach during our road trip stopover at Port Macquarie. It was windy, wet weather and the beach was secluded during that time.
