Ruins Cafe is a cafe in Port Macquarie with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking.
My family and i have been to the Ruins cafe before for coffee and cake but today I had my Mother and Stepdad come up from the Central Coast NSW for an early christmas catch up. Table for 6 people sitting outdoors, we ordered 2x BLT's which comes with a side serving of chips, Dino nuggets meal, Thai beef salad 3x cans of soft drink and small banana milkshake which came to $90.50. Good food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. We will be coming back again. They offer a range of indoor or outdoor seating, we got there at 11:30am and there were a few tables left indoors and outdoors, we chose to sit outdoors as it was a little noisy indoors. Overall very impressed 👏 👌 👍 sorry no pics of food today, we were too hungry.
What a find! Great friendly service, clean tables quick service with our drinks and food. Veg burger was so lovely we asked for the ingredients so we could try and make it. Great meals for gluten free options. We will be back
Ate here with my partner, parents and two children. Food was okay - nothing spectacular. Of note, Spent over $140 and they still charged us $2 for about 200ml of boiling water to heat my newborns bottle. I have never been charged for boiling water at anywhere we have eaten before. It wasn't particularly busy. I thought that was quite average when we were paying for four main meals, a kids meal and drinks. Won't be heading back in a hurry.
Great food, satisfied my hunger after some shopping in 3 different stores. Social distancing and Covid 19 restrictions in place. We have been there numerous times since then, mostly for take away and ordered the same food each time. One thing I noticed though is that the portioning is more when dining in rather than take away. Hmm.
I have had two coffees here, one long black and one almond latte, both were good. Both indoor and outdoor space. Not too much variety when it comes to vegan and gluten free sweets. Staff are quite friendly. God bless
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
