Edgewater Park is a dog-friendly park in Buff Point with plenty of shade.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at this park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act, dogs must be kept on a leash in all public areas except designated off-leash zones.
Another really lovely spot to explore on the Central Coast. I went from Tuggerah so it was about a 20min drive. It was fairly busy but I went on a Saturday morning. The weather was beautiful, the path is wonderful and the views are stunning. At the beginning there is a fully fenced playground for the kids and some seating areas for picnics. There's also plenty of trees for shaded areas. The walking path is lengthy and we came across a house that provided a water bowl for dogs which was lovely. Parking availability isn't huge but I didn't have a problem at the time. Overall a very nice spot to enjoy a walk or a bike ride.
Great playground can't wait to take my grandson there, clean great equipment, toilets, BBQ area picnic tables facing the water, walking tracks & easy parking
Big playground all fenced off as well (a lot of the playgrounds on the path are not fenced) Great area to picnic at as well, lots of trees for shade, right on the lake, a walking path you can also ride bikes and scooters on. Boatramp also there They hold a parkrun event every Saturday at 8am as well
Great family outing venue. Great place for a picnic, had a BBQ, enjoyed a scenic walk along the fully paved pathway parralel to the lake. We loved the majestic abundance of angophera (gum) trees, some looked as if they were 70 years old.
Always pleasant - but exposed to the NW thru to SW... can mean hot afternoon sun or brisk mid-Autumn wind. My photo are from 700 metres further along the sealed path to the SE, but still in Buff Point.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
