Super lovely experience, midweek. Great facilities and outdoor dining was peaceful, bright, very clean with part shade available. Food and service excellent. Especially liked Lemon/Lime & bitters made with lemon squash. Very refreshing. Our tacos were top notch!
Sad as this use to be a favourite lunch stop along the coast! Guessing they’ve swapped hands as the food is pretty ordinary and expensive now. I was served a very very stale bagel (could not even get a fork through it). They were happy to fix it up and replace with a fresh one but I feel more offended that there was a fresh one but they chose to serve the stale one in the first place. I fear this likely reflects a lot of how things may be prepped and keeping stale food is a big red flag for me personally.
Everything tastes homemade and high-quality, with options for lighter salads or hearty brunch plates that satisfy any craving. Service is warm, portions are spot-on, and the prices feel like a steal for this level of excellence. Munchas Cafe has nailed the perfect cafe experience—great ambiance paired with food that’s consistently delicious and creative. If you’re hungry, this is your spot. 5 stars all the way! ★★★★★
Nice and close to the beach so very convenient. Plenty of tables available. Food was very nice & reasonably priced (2 large chips & 2 individual fish & chip packs was only $38). Only downside was the sheer amount of flies that surrounded us while we tried to eat (although this seemed to be a problem in the entire area - beach included)
The food was shockingly average. A burger, two drinks and a wrap cost $55. The food is boring and bland no heart into it whatsoever, for the price the food should have something to it, I could've gone to a deli and gotten a better meal. I bought an iced mocha, it came with no ice and when I asked for ice they looked at me like I was silly.Honestly don't go here , don't waste your money.
