Bawley Beach is a beach in Bawley Point where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
Shoalhaven City Council's Dog Off-Leash Guide states: "Dogs in the Shoalhaven are required to be 'on leash'" unless in a designated off-leash area or dog-prohibited area. This venue is not named in Shoalhaven's off-leash list or prohibited list under D23/519887 (MIN23.740, December 2023), so the council-wide default on-leash rule applies. Dogs must be under the effective control of a competent person at all times under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. (Source: Shoalhaven City Council, MIN23.740 / D23/519887.)
Fantastic beach in a nice small town. The water is so nice and clear, and the sand is bright and clean. There's enough of the beach to have space between other people, and if you get close to the trees, you can setup for shade in the afternoon. The waves weren't too choppy when we went, nice for a bit of fun. If you want, you can also walk around on the rocks beside the beach for different views.
Great beach with toilets, bbqs and playground near the car park. Generally pretty calm with a few waves. Nice headlands with opportunities to spot dolphins and whales.
Quite and calm Bawley Beach and search Bawley Beach instead of Bawley point in Google. This location is between Ulladulla and Batesman Bay.
Great place to kick back and relax. Cafe on the high Street and the loos are a little hard to find but the surf is great
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
