Dog rules

Shoalhaven City Council's Dog Off-Leash Guide states: "Dogs in the Shoalhaven are required to be 'on leash'" unless in a designated off-leash area or dog-prohibited area. This venue is not named in Shoalhaven's off-leash list or prohibited list under D23/519887 (MIN23.740, December 2023), so the council-wide default on-leash rule applies. Dogs must be under the effective control of a competent person at all times under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. (Source: Shoalhaven City Council, MIN23.740 / D23/519887.)

First time staying at Tasman Holiday Park Racecourse Beach and from the moment we turned left into the grounds from the main road, I was impressed at how well maintained the park looked. We arrived after reception hours. Thankfully they sent a message a few hours before with all the information I needed including collection of our key/location of our site as we stayed on an ensuite site which looked just like the pictures! Shower had great pressure and temperature. Nice and clean, you wouldn't think you were camping! The attached undercover BBQ plate & sink area was also clean and so handy! About a minutes walk over the dune to the gorgeous beach, the pool area is resort like with nice hamptons style lounges and a slide for the kids. Kangaroos in the mornings & ducks waddling around the place. We stayed for 2 nights and wished we had booked for longer. We will definitely be back! Thank you to the team at Tasman Bawley Point for lovely service and keeping it so well maintained!

Horrible facilities. Toilets and showers were always in a horrible condition and smelt like leaking sewerage (from the outside, inside was worse). Powered site poles are too far away from "powered sites", couldn't connect to the water mains for the first time in years of camping. No grey water waste so everyone just dumps it out on their site. Kids playground is good and location right on the beach is ideal, the park just needs an uplift. Cabins might be the go if staying.

Nice long beach near the caravan park. A little exposed so gets quite windy.

This Beach is Just Beautiful!!! I love it's apart of the tasman holiday park. The Beach water is clear and blue. So peaceful. Such serenity. Only one blue bottle was seen and washed up. The sea shells on this beach are HUGGEE!! My sons had a blast finding them, considering their size it wasn't hard. Great family Beach ⛱ 😎
