Merry Beach Milkbar

The food itself was ok, but the wait time really let the experience down. We were advised there would be about a one-hour wait for deep-fried items, so we ordered and came back after 50 minutes. Unfortunately, we then had to wait a further 40 minutes for the food to be ready. Had we known the total wait would be around 1.5 hours, we would have asked for a refund and made alternative plans. This is by far the longest I’ve ever waited for fish and chips. Unless it’s very quiet, I’d probably consider other options.

I stay at Merry Beach and often wander up to this cafe/shop. Since Aaron has taken over and working the espresso machine, the quality of the coffee has gone interstellar! Aaron is a coffee scientist. For you Naarm people I even asked for a Magic and received two...being asked which I preferred. The first was great...Richmond quality. The second he said had a touch of pouring cream in the steamed 'milk' which softened the coffee beautifully. I asked for it the next day. Just as good. It was a stunning day and the covered seating area is a restful delight. I'll be back...and back...and back. Good onya Aaron.

Love coming here at any time of the day. Everything from the menu is consistently good and Arron is a coffee wizard. I’d recommend exploring a bit of the different types of coffee blends he has to offer. Almost feels like a coffee winery. Nice areas outside to eat and chill and the ambience music is also on point.

Honestly the absolut best breaky and lunch place around here!! An absolute MUST when you’re in the area. The coffee is amazing, even to get some for home grinded- thats what we do. Usually we’re having the breaky wrap, or fish burger. But there is a lot of options on the menu and a little supermarket next to it too to grab more snacks and drinks and icecream.

The coffee is delicious whatever the drink (cappuccino, iced latte, espresso,...) We loved coming to taste coffee with tastes we'd never had before. We've never been disappointed And the managers are lovely We recommend it!
