The Rock & Roll Coffee Company is a cafe in Mullumbimby with outdoor seating. It hasn't yet been confirmed as dog-friendly, so it's best to check with the venue before visiting.
Tucked down an alleyway is this little haven. Indoor and outdoor seating, very chill environment. A kind server called Courtney took my order and the dish was received very quickly. I ordered the Gado Gado, which was tasty, spicy and packed full of flavour. They did have a great cocktail list but I stuck with the waters this time. I received the lunch recommendation from a local in a book store and it did not disappoint. If you want to unwind and enjoy your time, this is the place to go
Rock & Roll Coffee Company feels like stumbling into a secret you’re instantly glad still exists. The salads alone deserve recognition—hands down some of the best we’ve had in a long time. Generous, balanced, alive with flavour. The kind of food that makes you slow down mid-forkful and recalibrate what a café salad is even meant to be. Then there’s the setting. Tucked away with proper alleyway energy, it feels hidden without being exclusive. Inside, the lighting drops low, sanctuary-like, offering relief from a blazing summer day that feels almost ceremonial. You exhale without realising you were holding your breath. The staff are intimidatingly good-looking, yes—but thankfully without attitude. No pretension here, no performative cool. Just ease, confidence, and a sense that this place knows exactly who it is. And that’s the magic. Rock & Roll holds onto something intangible—something that feels permanently, stubbornly Mullumbimby. Not frozen in time. Just grounded.
A funky Cafe in the heart of Mullumbimby serving fabulous coffee, pastries and meals. Laid back vibe and well worth a visit
Found a gem in the most unlikeley place awsome atmosphere and superb food. Highly recommended a visit if you pass thru you will not be disappointed.
I had lunch at rock n roll yesterday it was delicious. The Nasi Goreng was washed down with a green machine smoothie, superb. I don’t lunch at Rock b Roll much except in school holidays and it was so worth it. Thanks Douglas the new chef who made the meal sing. Thanks to the Rock n Roll crew lead by Rebecca the maître d with the ability to turn any frown upside down.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
