Zentveld’s Coffee Farm & Roastery is such a stunning place to visit and an absolute must if you’re a coffee lover. This family owned farm has been operating since the late 1980s and roasting since the early 1990s, producing beautiful Australian grown Arabica coffee right on their lush Newrybar property in the Northern Rivers. The farm doesn’t just grow coffee: they also nurture a diverse, regenerative environment with beehives, fruit trees, and wildlife friendly gardens, which makes the whole place feel peaceful and alive. They offer Crop to Cup tours, where you can walk through the plantation, learn about how coffee is grown and roasted, and finish with a beautiful specialty coffee overlooking the hinterland. We sadly missed the tour last time, but it’s at the top of our list for our next visit. They also have a lovely coffee house and farm shop where you can sit on the deck, take in the view, and enjoy freshly roasted coffee. You can buy beans to take home, along with local Northern Rivers goodies like fresh honey, coffee plungers, and chocolate coated beans. We visited last year and absolutely loved it. It’s so peaceful and incredibly beautiful; I felt genuinely grateful sitting there with an amazing coffee, looking out over the farm. We left with beans, honey, and chocolate-coated coffee beans, and we’re already excited to return. Highly recommend putting this place on your list when you’re in the area. It’s such a special experience.

We did the plantation tour with Becs, friendly, welcoming and informative. It was interesting to learn how the plantation works and enjoyed a really good coffee and a slice of delicious home made carrot cake to boot. Good value and beautiful view from the back deck over the coffee trees and macadamias further up the hill. 10/10

Well worth a drive from Byron, a must do. Superb coffee (Byron Blend) and what a wonderful place, a back deck overlooking the plantation. Coffee heaven!

Wow, have been coming here for a few years now. Love the area , and most of all the coffee. Neat tidy shop and friendly staff. One of the best cappuccinos I have ever had.

A lovely spot to stop in for coffee, but a better option is to do the tour! We stopped in as we were passing, and the coffee was exceptionally well made. Staff were friendly and very knowledgable, and the setting is beautiful and worth stopping to admire. I strongly recommend including a tour though, and turning this into a real experience.
