Returned to the restaurant on our 18th Wedding Anniversary having got married at this venue. Thank you to the chef for the beautiful food, the waitresses for their exceptional hospitality and to nature for the incredible view. We have come away with a true feeling of joy and happiness and won’t wait another 18 years to revisit!

Pasadena is an exceptional wedding venue — refined, intimate, and effortlessly beautiful. The ceremony space on the water is simply stunning, and having on-site accommodation for 30 guests elevated the entire celebration into a truly immersive weekend experience. It allowed our closest family and friends to stay together, relax, and fully enjoy every moment. The food was outstanding and something our guests are still talking about. You attend so many weddings where the food is forgettable — or worse — but at Pasadena, every meal was genuinely excellent. We received countless compliments from guests on the quality, flavour, and service, which made the experience feel elevated and considered. What truly sets Pasadena apart, though, is the team. As a family-run venue, the care and pride they take in what they do is evident in every detail. That genuine focus on experience is exactly why we chose Pasadena, and it exceeded every expectation. Jess, the event manager, is exceptional — calm, flexible, intuitive, and an absolute joy to work with. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Across the three nights we stayed, every member of the team — from reservations, to the kitchen, to the floor staff — went above and beyond to make the weekend seamless. Even on a hot day, the reception was perfectly comfortable, with the air conditioning handled so well that we barely noticed the heat at all — a small but hugely appreciated detail that speaks to their professionalism. We’re so grateful we live just an hour away, because we cannot’t wait to return — not only to relive such special memories, but for the exceptional food and atmosphere. Pasadena offers outstanding value for money, a breathtaking setting, and a team that genuinely cares. We could not recommend it more highly.

We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than Pasadena Sydney for our wedding.The same place where me and my husband met first time for dinner date. So we chose same venue for our wedding. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking water views that created the most magical atmosphere for our special day. The coordination and service on the day were flawless, allowing us and our guests to relax and truly enjoy every moment. The food was exceptional and received so many compliments from our guests, and the overall ambience was elegant and unforgettable. Thank you to the entire Pasadena Sydney team for making our wedding day so seamless, beautiful, and memorable. We are truly grateful and highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a dream wedding location.

A missed opportunity. We would welcome a reason to return if standards lift. Our group visited The Pasadena for Christmas lunch hoping for a great experience, but it fell short. The staff were genuinely lovely, so none of this is on them — service was the highlight. Unfortunately, the rest didn’t meet expectations. We were told we had one of the “best water view tables,” but it was positioned right beside the DJ booth. The volume was excessive for a restaurant setting, and the acoustics amplified it to the point where conversation was difficult. The drinks didn’t redeem the situation. The margarita lacked flavour, the Silent Assassin tasted watered down, and the espresso martini was harsh and overwhelmingly strong — not balanced like it should be. Food quality was inconsistent. The ravioli and beef cheeks were average at best. The barramundi was the biggest disappointment — while others received thick, generous portions, one plate arrived with what looked like just the tail, offering barely any fish at all. For a dish at this price point, that felt careless. In the end, despite great staff, the overall experience was underwhelming and didn’t justify the reputation or the cost. As a group, we wouldn’t return.

We want to give the biggest thank you to Jess and the entire team at Pasadena for making our wedding day truly the day of our dreams. From the very beginning, Jess was incredible. She was so organised, responsive, and helpful with every little question we had. We knew from our very first meeting that choosing Pasadena as our venue was the best decision we could’ve made. On the day, we were blessed with the most perfect weather, which meant we could have our ceremony in the stunning outdoor space. It was everything we’d imagined and more. Our guests then enjoyed delicious cocktails, amazing canapés, and the most impressive charcuterie board during our cocktail hour. They’re still talking about it! When it came time for the reception, the food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was incredible, and the staff were so accommodating, ensuring that everything ran seamlessly and that there was more than enough food and drink to go around. So many of our guests commented on how amazing both the food and service were. We honestly can’t thank the Pasadena team enough for bringing our vision to life and creating such a magical experience. We can’t wait to come back in the years ahead to celebrate anniversaries and other special occasions as it will forever hold such a special place in our hearts! 🤍
