Nice little park but the park itself is not busy but the council requires you to pay for parking 24/7 which is abit ridiculous imo. There’s a playground, BBQ area, toilet facilities, tables and bench’s right by the water and an exercise area. They do have lots of shades but overall not a great park for dogs to run around but a nice park regardless. The parking makes it lose most of the stars. There is also one bus to get there so overall, it’s def a park that requires a car to get to unless you live near the complexes there.
This wasn't our first time being at the exact location before when it was around 2 to 3 years ago we went here with the social groups although there wasn't a chance to play badminton which it was quite windy so instead they're decide to go for a walk seeing the waterfront very close by to the seashore then there was a sign of a Construction upgrade to this park giving extra information to the amenities including a shower as part of it. Good to come here although the ķids playground area for the owners to be occupied at all times. When the new extension upgrade is completed it will change a lot of the dimensions of how big it will become. Toilets are provided seeing a phone charger near the shady places. Plenty of parking fir disabled van only.
Great place to go for a walk. There has been a step-up event for cancer survivorship fundraising. Had absolutely delicious cakes and cookies. There are lots of parking spaces but it may be full when the place is busy like today. You can see lots of people fishing by the water. Great place to sit and relax. Family friendly. But the toilet was unsanitary so need bit more maintenance otherwise beautiful place.
Walking from St. Leonards to this place is pleasant especially if you walk from the residential areas. Lovely houses, trees & flowers . The view is beautiful but not a soul you see. A quiet me time I spent here doing meditation & thanking God for this BEAUTIFUL WORLD.
Went for a walk near Bay view park. Part of my walk included a golf park. It's amazing what you see along the way.
