Dog rules
City of Canada Bay's "Local off-leash areas" page states: "Failure to control your dog by means of an adequate chain, cord or leash (unless in a Council declared off-leash area) is an offence under the Companion Animals Act 1998." This venue is not in the council's declared off-leash areas, so dogs must be on-leash. (Source: City of Canada Bay — Local off-leash areas, canadabay.nsw.gov.au.)

What people say
A nice park with a playground and plenty of room to kick the ball around. There is no fences around this park. Parking is on the streets surrounding the park. There are 2 benches and 1 table in the shade under the trees. There is another park across the road with cricket practice sections. You can reach the bay walk easily from here. A wonderful part of Sydney with a warm community throughout the peninsula. A lot of locals walking and running. Doggies going for walkies and kids practicing sport.
The City of Canada Bay has over 35km of foreshore along the Parramatta River and Iron Cove, which is why water management is important for our area. The majority of the rainwater and stormwater run-off in our catchment, drains to these waterways via our roofs, roads, drainage network and open spaces. Due to our urbanised environment, we play a vital role in how the run-off water is managed to prevent our waterways becoming polluted.
