Girdlers Café - Avalon

Girdlers, Avalon 🌿☕ Sun-washed, calm, and quietly confident. Girdlers nails the Avalon brief with ease. Indoor and outdoor seating flow effortlessly, service is warm without trying too hard, and the food is genuinely fresh. We had the prosciutto crêpe which was light, savoury, perfectly balanced, and the “Don’t Call Me Benny”, which delivers all the comfort without the cliché. Coffee? Properly good. Clean, smooth, and considered. This is the kind of place you come for breakfast or lunch and accidentally stay longer than planned. Simple done well. Colourful and meets art.

A lovely cafe with lovely staff. The outdoor seating is great with an overhead cover that diffuses the light and gives protection from sun and rain. I don't like soy milk they served, but that's just my preference. Also, the bathroom wasn't in the greatest state. My eggs were cooked perfectly, though a little bland tasting. The sourdough was good, just extra hard edges, so I had to pick up the toast to eat it.

Girdlers Avalon is an absolute gem. The most delicious and well made hot drinks I’ve had. Their food is fresh, health conscious and consistently made with love. The staff are warm and bring a great energy too. A coconut matcha, and a goodtella treat are my favourite recommendations x

Honestly my favourite cafe to date. Have had multiple drinks here - hot and cold. Food is nourishing and prepared with love. Great for people who are conscious about what they consume. The vibe is amazing and the staff are so friendly. You can tell they work great as a team. The music is always really fun. If you come, the spiced cocoa and a shot of espresso will be a treat. Burrito is wholesome too. 10/10. A gem!

Hands down the best breaky in Avalon! I am a regular here and the food quality, consistency and level of service is so fab. Cauli shakuka and smashed avo on repeat. The sweet treats are so yummy and a little bit healthy. Keep being fab girdlers!
