Lakes & Ocean Hotel

The location is great! It’s worth it just for the view, sitting with a beer on the balcony. The food is average, and the kids play area really needs an update. We’d head here more often if it was more kid friendly.

Great staff, Great Venue. Food is amazing ...try the Barra and with the views from the front of the hotel over the water. Ticks all the boxes. Will definitely be back with the family

Small room with a really comfy bed, great shower. Had the rudest girl serve me i the bistro. Cips were inedible, tasted of dirty oil. 3 people working behind the bar but were too busy talking to each other to actually serve anyone. Fire alarm started at 4.20am, everyone vacated their rooms. We were sitting on pavement in our pjs until past 5am when someone came and turned it off. They said nothing, did not explain whether there was a fire or not and just left the building again. No explanation or apology.

Amazing location but Unfortunately, the lady at the bar was rude and could definitely work on her attitude. Other than that, it’s an amazing place. Not too sure about the magpie flying around the kitchen — a bit strange but honestly kind of amusing, so I’ll let that slide. One more thing: while sitting at my table, my arm started getting wet. I looked up and noticed the air conditioner was leaking, which wasn’t great. And the chicken schnitzel wasn’t cooked properly so lowkey disappointed and staff was not happy when we asked about it

Dropped in for lunch while in the area. Great location on the water with plenty of tables that take advantage of the views. Had the Schnitty and the Parmi which were both very good. The only downside of the meal was the 'salad', which was 98% lettuce with a small sprinkle of carrot. Would have been nice to get some tomato, cucumber.
