Lane Cove National Park is a beautiful and peaceful escape from the busy city life. The park is full of tall trees, fresh air, and many walking tracks that are perfect for hiking or just enjoying a relaxing walk in nature. There are also picnic and BBQ areas, which make it a great spot for family gatherings or spending time with friends. The park has a river where you can go kayaking or simply enjoy the views of the water. There are also many birds and wildlife to see, which makes the experience even more enjoyable for nature lovers. Parking is available, and the facilities are well maintained. Overall, it’s an excellent place to enjoy nature, exercise, and relax

Entry fee -8 dollar(car) Lane Cove National Park is a true hidden gem in Sydney, offering a perfect escape from the city’s hustle without having to travel far. The park is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, peaceful walking trails, and the calming Lane Cove River flowing through the heart of it. It’s ideal for picnics, family gatherings, cycling, kayaking, or simply unwinding in nature. The facilities are great – clean BBQ areas, picnic tables, sheltered spots, and plenty of parking. I personally loved the Riverside walking track, which gives you scenic views, fresh air, and a chance to spot native birds and wildlife. If you enjoy photography, nature walks, or just spending quiet time outdoors, this park won’t disappoint. The entry fee is reasonable considering the quality and maintenance of the park. clearer signboards and more frequent rubbish bins along the trails would make the experience even better. But overall, it’s a peaceful, relaxing, and refreshing place for individuals, couples, or families. Highly recommended for anyone in Sydney who wants a quick nature re-energising getaway. A perfect mix of greenery, water views, and serenity. I would definitely visit again!

Fantastic park to bush walk, observe nature, of have a picnic. Plenty of picnic spots, also can hire paddle boats and dingy's. The boats need a good clean though!! $50 an hour I think they could afford to detail them 😯

It's amazing to have so well preserved national park in the middle of the city, an easy, great escape from the city hustle bustle and busy life. There are walking trails, picnic areas and boat rides so this is a great option for a day outing with children, families and friends.

Beautiful & peaceful ❤️ A beautiful run through Lane Cove National park! I took a run from Chatswood station to Lane Cove river track ( Fullers st), along the left river bank to De Burghs bridge to other side. It’s the Great North Walk, the track’s full-filled with beautiful bushes, small stream, giant stones & a lot of birds. Then come back to Chatswood station again, total mileage is about 17km. Love it❤️. #LifeofVi #journeysofyouth #Viseetheworld #intothewood #trailrunning
