It’s a great place to relax and have a picnic or a BBQ with family and friends. It’s peaceful and you have so much nature around you with ducks and wild turkey. You can rent a boat and have a ride in the lake.

A great spot to spend a day of your weekend. There are many things you can do around here from simple picnic, bbq, bit of hiking or walking and you can even rent a boat to go around the river.

Absolutely nice spot for gathering and do some outdoor activities! Obviously it is located at lane cove national park and heaps of parking spots around. This area goes crazy on the weekend so it is hard to find a decent spot to relax but I would recommend to book your spot before popping in! Picnic area suits families mainly who have kids. Safe and good for them!

A challenging section of the Great North Walk, make sure you carry plenty of water, we couldn't find anywhere to replenish our water for about 15km.

Recently spent a week here in a cabin. Great park - the cabin was modern and very clean, service was friendly and the park itself is very well looked after. Kids had a great time, and loved the free spotlight tour in the evening. Location is excellent, within the national park and only a short walk to the station or a quick drive to most tourist locations. Highly recommended :)
