Jelbart Park is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Lavington where dogs are welcome on lead. The park also has shaded areas, parking, and toilets nearby. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking before you visit.
Dogs permitted on-leash only — Jelbart Park is not one of AlburyCity's five designated off-leash areas (Alexandra Park, Logan Road Park, Gordon Street Reserve, Oddies Creek Park, and Heathwood Park for Lavington). As an active sports complex with a children's playground, the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998 s14 prohibits dogs within 10m of play equipment and during organised games. Nearest off-leash area: Heathwood Park, Poplar Drive, Lavington.
Nice park but it pops up incorrectly as good for dogs when dogs are not permitted :( bit frustrated after walking my dog here!
A nice little park, within walking distance of Lavington Square shopping centre & Mirambeena centre. This little park, adjoins the local sports oval & has public toilets & shady trees for comfort. Our young Granddaughter loved the play equipment.
This is a very large sports ground complex and park. The kids play park is a reasonably good one for kids of all ages. The grounds are used for touch footy and soccer and are really well maintained. There is lots of parking available right around the grounds including a car park in the Centre.
Lovely day for soccer for Kids with special needs. Bumper bubble for other family members while adults watched the game. Lots of variety of foods at the canteen and the ladies toilet was clean
Jelbart park is fantastic for those family softball events. Albury council would be proud
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
