What people say
Springdale heights caters for all people! Unfortuantly so many pubs/restraunts in Albury refuse to blend food for people that have disabilities and require their food to be blended, to eat. This really limits where people can go out for lunch and join in with the community. The kitchen staff at Springy had no problem in blending a parmi, chips and veg. They even went to the effort to still make it look as nice as possible. Was great to find a place that caters for everyone. The client also really enjoyed his meal, which was a bonus. Will definitely be going back here, for this service.
Excellent customer service from the moment we walked in. Two roast lunches for $44 - great value and delicious! Ample portions served up quickly and warm food....unlike many other places. Plenty of choice of seating both in the bars and dining room. We will definitely be back. The only improvement woukd be to have Guinness on tap!
Now... please do not take this as me sayying that this is a bad place and the food and vibes are service are incredible but what makd this go down was from a personal experience. As I had been camping down at Lake hume with my brothers friends family's who I mostly dislike, because it was our last night all 44 of us decided to head down to thus pub. We go there order, eat the INCREDIBLE lamb shank and then go on my phone as there was no one to talk to. When all of a sudden I here everyone singing happy birthday to me as it had been my birthday the day after, this had overwhelmed me and ruined the night for me as I had to try not to cry (my phone went flat aswell) OK now yo the good stuff. As I said lamb shank top tier tasted like my mum made it (and she is a incredible cook) look of the place top teir it was so aeshetic. Service top tier food was fast and you order off qr code and do T have to interact with anyone and finally playground top tier. No need to explain
Ordered 2 mains, a kids, entree and a pizza. I must say today was our best experience at the Springdale heights tavern. Other times were pretty good but it feels like today was that next level. The service staff were helpful and friendly. My porterhouse steak was better than I had imagined. Typically I am a parmi guy but not now… definitely worth a visit. Even better on a cold winters day when it’s quiet.
------------------- Update 7/1/24 Down to 4 again. The pork belly was once a great dish and have had it many times. However, they don't even try to make the skin crispy anymore. They are happy to serve soft rubber. It wasn't really busy at the lunch time I ordered. ------------- Update 18/5/23 Upped to 5 stars. They were so accommodating to my diet and they know how to cook steak perfectly. Thanks all. ---- Great pub grub for the price (and some dishes that are really amazing) The specials can be hit and miss. But come and make your own decision
