You can see stunning view from the lookout, not busy and quiet. Easy access to the lookout mainly wheelchair accessible & there is a childrens playground and few parking spots so may just need to park on Wyanna street. Lookout is a lovely spot for a walk with stunning sunset views!
We had a great day walking in the area. Parked near the eastern side of the ferry and walk north and up the track. Then south to the lookout above the ferry. It was a steep walk up with some stairs, but that was made up by coming down them at the end. A relaxed 4 hour walk.
The gentleman I met at Barnetts lookout told me about a great place. He was a very proud man. He showed me the cave under the cliff.
An 8 hours walk starting from berowra exploring many trails along the way. It is a very quiet area, not so many hikers use that road. I came across 6 givers for the 8 hours. However, I passed by a camping ground, which was a kind of a break from being a lobe for all that time. There are so many interesting and breathtaking views. I did not see many places to swim. But it is definitely the walk you would want to do in a life time.
Lots of tracks to explore, not busy at all. Fresh water especially after a rainy day! Lots of birds singing around. Highly recommend for a weekend to recharge your battery for a week
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
