Hideout 2081 is a cafe in Berowra where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
This cafe is a big favourite with the cycling crowd. There is and open indoor dining area at the back with lots of room to spread out. The service was good but unfortunately the coffee was not. It was very weak and tasted like a mix between espresso-based and instant coffee. My partner didn't like their breakfast wrap and the avocado was a bit Brown. However, my yoghurt bowl was really delicious and the waitress was very friendly.
A really cute little cafe with great atmosphere, and they make a great flat white at a really reasonable price! Friendly service. My order of two coffees was misheard for three (easily done) which they made. On realising I only wanted two, without hesitation apologised and gave me money back for the third. Food looked good so will definitely be back for a dine-in brunch.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The food is fresh, well presented and full of flavour. Whether you’re stopping by for a coffee, brunch, or a full meal, you can count on consistently great food, top-notch coffee or a nice conversation with the friendly staff. I wish I were more local but that still doesn’t stop me from seeking comfort in Hideout for my coffee breaks or to study in a friendly environment. If you read this in deciding on a place to eat or get a coffee, I implore you to end your search and give it a try.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner, had the eye fillet with truffle mash for main, it was cooked perfectly. The crème brûlée for dessert was silky smooth such a treat! We’ll be back.
Food and service was amazing. Seared tuna and stuffed mushrooms to start followed by seafood risotto and confit duck leg with truffle mash. So tasty and perfectly cooked. A delight having such a great place to eat locally.
