What people say
Nice place, bakery is great with lots of options and pies looked good. We had breakfast though, food was OK, poached eggs dry and bacon overcooked, could not cut through sourdough. A bit more noise than I expected from the trucks on Old Northern Road made it not as relaxing as I was expecting.
After seeing all the great reviews online, we had to try it for ourselves and we weren’t disappointed! The food is excellent value for money, with so many options to choose from, including pastries, pies, desserts, and mains. Plus, the staff are some of the friendliest we’ve ever encountered.
From the moment we arrived, Sylvia truly lived up to the title of “hostess with the mostess.” She welcomed us with a warm, genuine smile that instantly set the tone for a wonderful morning. We had prearranged the high tea, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Everything was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was Sylvia’s attention to detail and her gracious hospitality. She even offered us a to-go box for our leftovers, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests and their experience. Sylvia made the entire visit feel special, and we truly felt like VIPs. We can’t wait to return for another delightful experience!
The pastries here are nothing short of delightful, each bite bursting with flavor! And the ambiance? It’s simply enchanting—a perfect blend of charm and coziness that makes you want to linger a little longer!
This is a lovely bakery with a shop attached where you can buy homemade honey, biscuits etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Menu has many options, we really enjoyed what we ordered, highly recommend the signature pie with toppings. They also have a lot of options for cakes and desserts. Plenty of seating inside and outside.
