Mills Park is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Asquith where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shade, drinking water, and BBQs nearby, and dog waste bags are usually available.
Dogs must be on a leash in all public places unless in a designated off-leash area. Keep your dog in sight at all times. Pick up and dispose of all waste correctly. Do not let your dog rush at or harass other dogs and people. Source: Hornsby Shire Council – Off-leash dog areas (hornsby.nsw.gov.au).
Mills Park had a facelift recently, thanks to the Hornsby Shire Council. There are new playground equipments and a new exercise area is being built. There is also a large oval where one can walk around it. Plenty of streetside parking. 🅿️ It’s a beautiful local park.
Great new playground with toilets, safe away from the road and good variety of play equipment
The playground consists of a baby swing and a big kid swing and a climbing frame with small slide, and that's it. The see saw thing has been snapped off. Probably time for a refresh really. My toddler much preferred the look of the play equipment in the neighbouring preschool!
Great walking track adored by many locals both 4 and 2 legged. Cricket soccer codes abound as kids of all ages push to seek their potential on well maintained fields
Great walking track and good scenery. The playground needs an upgrade though. Would also be great if there was some public exercise equipment, like there is at Asquith Oval and Rofe Park.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
